Shipping is kinda spendy but I'm half tempted to get one. Thoughts before I jump on it and see if it can be made to work?
Anyone wanna donate some inletting help and see if we can't help out all calgunners who own these. It might come to a nice group purchase setup and a big run of inletting which the inletter would thence probably be easily paid for by those that needed the service.

My 7mag is a nasty accurate gun with a so-so trigger and a clugy magazine setup. It's a nice enough rifle but the stock is just horrid.
I know of dozens of you that own 's too for your loaner guns and truck guns so I'm also sure some of you would like a wood stock on yours too. I got it as a dedicated loaner for that one friend that refuses to buy his own rifle but insists on hunting and prefers to hunt with me. Got it in 7mag to see if heavy recoil won't help him decide he wants his own gun.

Remington Wood Stock. For those of you who purchased a Remington due to the rifle action and want a wood stock to replace the synthetic one, I just contacted boydsgunstocks. I did so and they said if they get 10 requests 9 more they will start making them.
So those interested PLEASE put in a request and maybe we can actually get someone to make it for us! I put in Standard American Walnut for the "color" choice, as I'm sure most of you would want this option as well.
I figure once the program is made, all you'd have to do is pick whatever stock color you wanted and they would just have to load that wood blank in the machine and you'd have your stock!
